I'm Cherie and I am a certified massage therapist, massage instructor and hypnotherapist. Regarding my massage therapy, I utilize several different modalities including but not limited to: medical, deep tissue, sports and Swedish massage.

Depending on your specific areas of pain or stress, I can concentrate in one modality or combine the above techniques into a customized smooth massage meeting your needs. I have a trade marked specialty for the upper back utilizing Kompression-Stretches™ that concentrates on the trapeziums, the rhomboids, and all the other associated muscle groups in the upper back. I utilize compression, stretches and rotation in the upper back to lengthen the muscles and release them so they are more accessible and amenable to massage. This is the most frequently stress and pain associated area for most folks.

Waiver:
Due to the nature of massage therapy and some people's own interpretation of the aforementioned, I need to state some ethics of my practice.
I follow all rules and regulations of the licensing board for MT's, MTI's and CEU providers in the state of Texas inclulding:proper draping of clients at all times. There are absolutely no exceptions to this rule. I want each of my clients to feel comfortable and relaxed, and to know I have and exercise professional boundaries at all times. But to those who may be looking for "other" types of massage, please consult the Austin Chronicle or some other source.
